1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the Embassy Row Project platform and services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Embassy Row Project.
2. Description of Services
Embassy Row Project provides forensic crisis intelligence and decision support services for governments, humanitarian organizations, critical infrastructure operators, and corporate decision-makers. Our platform offers 104 specialized analytical services across 21 categories, including diplomatic initiative design, conflict zone humanitarian support, national security options briefing, and crisis command operations.
All services are provided on a grant-funded basis through the philanthropic support of James Scott. We do not charge fees for our services and do not accept donations. Access to services is subject to grant application approval.
3. Grant Access and Eligibility
Access to Embassy Row Project services requires submission and approval of a grant application. Eligible organizations include government entities, humanitarian organizations, non-governmental organizations, critical infrastructure operators, and qualifying corporate entities operating in high-stakes decision environments.
Embassy Row Project reserves the right to approve or deny grant applications at its sole discretion. Approval is based on organizational mission alignment, operational capacity, and intended use of services.
4. Acceptable Use
Users agree to use Embassy Row Project services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. Users shall not use our services to engage in any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations, infringes on the rights of others, or could harm the reputation or operations of Embassy Row Project.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any analysis outputs, briefing materials, or intelligence products generated through our platform. Unauthorized distribution or misuse of such materials may result in termination of access.
5. Intellectual Property
All content, methodologies, analytical frameworks, and proprietary systems used by Embassy Row Project remain the exclusive intellectual property of Embassy Row Project. Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use service outputs for their intended organizational purposes.
Users retain ownership of any data, documents, or materials they submit to the platform for analysis. Embassy Row Project does not claim ownership of user-submitted content.
6. Confidentiality and Data Security
Embassy Row Project maintains strict confidentiality protocols for all user data and analysis outputs. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect sensitive information. Users acknowledge that while we take all reasonable precautions, no system can guarantee absolute security.
Users are responsible for implementing appropriate security measures within their own organizations to protect access credentials and analysis outputs.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
Embassy Row Project services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. While we strive for accuracy and reliability, we do not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that analysis outputs will meet specific requirements or expectations.
Analysis outputs are intended to support decision-making processes and should not be considered as the sole basis for critical decisions. Users are responsible for independent verification and professional judgment in applying our analysis to their specific circumstances.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Embassy Row Project and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to the use of our services, regardless of the theory of liability.
9. Modifications to Terms
Embassy Row Project reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Users will be notified of material changes through the platform or via email. Continued use of services after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States of America, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
